I have installed a SQL 2005 Active \ Active cluster. I installed the agents
on the physicle nodes, enabled proxy and am able to see all of my SQL 2005 64
bit database instances.

I then installed a 32 bit instance to handle SSIS jobs due to the jet4.0
drivers not availble in a 64 bit instances. This database instance does not
show up in the monitoring console.

I read that I need to manully install the 32 bit agent, however I have not
been able to find out how to do that.

Also will the 32 bit agent monitor the 64 bit instances?

Can someone direct me in the right path what I should do to monitor all of
these instances.

Thanks

Hi Harold

The MOM 2005 32 bit agent will monitor the 64 cluster.
You will only have to install the agents on the physical servers, then
they(nodes) should drop into the console.

Have been running 32 bit instances on 64 bit and they was visible and got
monitored.
