OpsMgr 2007 not monitoring SQL 2000

Hi, all,

I have OpsMgr 2007 installed, and have imported the SQL Server Management
Packs. My SQL 2005 systems are being monitoring, but I have a server still
running SQL 2000. The host is being monitored, but when I look at the
Computers under Monitoring->Microsoft SQL Server, the host itself is listed
as OK, but the SQL 2000 Engine item says Not monitored.

I tried to repair to the agent install, which succeeded. But there has been
no change. What troubleshooting steps should I take?

I managed to answer my own question. This morning, a google search turned-up
Clive Eastwood's blog[1] entry on KB938991:

I followed the steps, and after "a while" SQL Server 2000 was shown as being
monitored. Thank you, Clive!
